Lewdle Word Of The Day For Tuesday, February 1
Wordle burst onto the scene back in November/December of last year and has continued to go from strength to strength with millions of players now posting their coloured squares on social media on a daily basis.
The quickfire word game has become so popular that, as of yesterday, it was sold by its creator Josh Wardle to none other than the New York Times.
It’s great for Josh, who credits the New York Times as one of his inspirations for the game, who received a seven-digit figure for his creation.
As with all great things, there will be spin-offs and that’s where Lewdle swoops in.
Created by Star Wars: Rogue One screenwriter and former Journalist Gary Whitta, Lewdle functions exactly the same as Wordle, however, the five-letter word players are guessing falls into the NSFW (Not Suitable For Work) category.
To help those who are stuck, here is the Lewdle word of the day for Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Lewdle Word Of The Day For Tuesday, February 1
As stated, Lewdle words are very NSFW and the game comes with the following warning: “Lewdle is a game about rude words. If you’re likely to be offended by the use of profanity, vulgarity or obscenity, go play Wordle instead!”
So, with that in mind, prepare for today’s Lewdle word which is: GAPES.
Lewdle Rules
Like Wordle, Lewdle challenges players to guess a five-letter word in six guesses, however, the game does offer a little support.
- If the letter is correct and in the correct place in the word, it will turn green.
- If the letter is correct but in the wrong place in the word, it will turn yellow.
- If the letter is completely incorrect, it will stay greyed out.
