Within the main story of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will come to a point where you must make a decision. You have to choose either Pearl or Diamond? It is not really clear what the consequences will be. In this short guide, we explain the effects and help you make the decision.

What happens if you choose Pearl or Diamond ?

During the main mission “The Calamity” you have to decide whether to accompany you Diamond from the Diamond Clan or Pearl from the Peral Clan. For now, that’s the only impact. When you explore the three great lakes, Diam or Perla will be waiting for you there and do the dialogues with you. At the end of these missions, however, the group reunites so that the other clan leader is also included.

The correct consequence then becomes apparent a little later: If you have chosen Diamond, Dialga will appear, which you can catch. If you chose Pearl instead, the Legendary Palkia will appear. But don’t worry, you’re guaranteed to get both Pokémon. With the decision, you only determine which monster you want to catch first.

Should you choose Diamond or Pearl?

Since you’ll get both Legendaries, the decision isn’t that dramatic. Just decide which character you like better and want to spend more time with.

A spoiler follows as to what exactly happens at the end: Depending on your decision, the other clan god will appear as the final boss. So if you z. B. If you choose Diam, you will be the first to catch Dialga. Palkia is then in his original form the final boss of the story. There are different cutscenes and the boss fights are also different. So that could also be a criterion for your choice. In the end, however, you will also catch the final boss, so that both Dialga and Palkia will join your team.
