Techland has introduced a curious nod to the Conan the Barbarian movie saga. Yes, forget about the remake directed by Marcus Nispel in 2011, we are talking about the diptych starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Everyone who has seen Conan is in love with the mythical Atlantean Sword. And luckily, Dying Light 2 hides a recreation of said weapon in a secret spot on the map.

This mighty two-handed sword is perfect for crushing your enemies. His name is ”Barbarian” , and while it’s not exactly the same as the one seen in the movies, it’s certainly a nice nod to the IP . from Techland.

If the first Dying Light included nods to Plants vs Zombies or Mario Bros, in this sequel we can get hold of the good old Conan’s sword. Of course, first, you have to know where to look.

To find this Conan easter egg, we must open the map and select the point ”GRE Anomaly”, which is located west of Garrison. This location is far from the city and is located on one of the edges of the map.

Once there, you will see a recognizable building. Inside is a showcase with Conan’s sword, but you won’t be able to open it just like that. It has a GRE lock.

Fortunately, it is not very difficult to open the lock. Once you get it, you will be able to wield the legendary sword of Conan, which is one of the best weapons in Dying Light 2.
