What is the Tiny Combat Arena Experience?

Tiny Combat Arena is an approachable combat flight simulator sporting a stylized look and various game modes.

Players will be able to dogfight in the Arena and in Quick Action or craft their own scenarios and take part in a vast war with objectives and friendly armies to support.

Sim-lite combat flight model

Tiny Combat Arena is all about the fun factor of flying, dogfighting, and close air support. Simulation elements are added to the game in service of creating engaging and deep gameplay, never just for the sake of realism. Easy to learn mechanics, such as knowing that firing a missile from high altitude will boost its range, creating a new range of tactics for you to explore.

The players will also have to arm their Harrier (the first plane available). Missiles, cannons, bombs; choosing specific loadouts for every mission.

Quick Mission Builder

Tiny Combat Arena lets players jump in and fly by quickly assembling various types of missions. Players can just have a placid stroll around some beautiful scenery or create missions with dogfights, strike objectives, and ground units to support.

Arena Mode

Players can plan their moves on the strategic map; pick objectives, identify threats and choose which units to support and where to make a difference.

There is a real war going on around and players will actively participate with perceivable results (or lack of!).

Detailed and useful database

The in-game database is there not only to give the players detailed statistics on vehicles, aircraft, and weapons but also to give guidance on how to approach different tactical situations.

Tiny Combat Arena is the work of a single developer. A software engineer by trade, he always wanted to play a combat flight simulator that would hit the sweet spot between the simulation and the fun of flying and fighting in the air, a Simlite.

In the end, he didn’t find any and decided to take the matter into his own hands.

MicroProse, founded in 1982,  is a world-famous simulation software company known for developing groundbreaking, classics and cult titles like the Falcon, F15 Strike Eagle, Silent Service, Gunship, Grand Prix, Civilization, B-17 The Mighty Eighth, and X-COM series, and many more simulation products that sold millions of copies each at retail.

Today, MicroProse is not only remaking select classics from its past but also paving the road to next-generation, state of the art games that will create the memories and experiences of the demanding new generations of gamers.
