Rumor – New Assassin’s Creed Game Planned, Features Basim And Will Launch By 2023
Ubisoft has reportedly turned an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion into a standalone entry in the popular series to help plug the gap in its upcoming release slate. This is separate to the planned Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
A report on Bloomberg reveals that the game, which is codenamed Rift, will feature Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and will put more of a focus on stealth and combat. As such, it’s not reportedly going to feature a massive open-world like recent entries.
Furthermore, Ubisoft has reportedly tinkered with a number of small-scale Assassin’s Creed expansions in the past 12 months, some of which have been cancelled outright.
