Tormented Souls Brings Survival Horror To PS4 On Feb. 25

Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works have announced that Tormented Souls will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on February 25, 2022, with a Nintendo Switch version arriving on April 14.

Tormented Souls is a love letter to old-school survival horror fans, featuring fixed camera perspective with a modern twist, and proudly flaunts its influences — Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone the Dark — on its sleeves. The game was previously released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in August 2021.

Players control Caroline Walker, who awakens in a bathtub and hooked up to some outdated medical equipment while investigating the disappearance of twin girls at Winterlake. Exploring the mansion, you’ll face off against its malevolent occupants while solving puzzles and savaging for valuable resources.

Nothing is quite as it seems at Winterlake. Mirrors provide a path to an alternate reality and another place in time. By crossing these shimmering gateways, Caroline can manipulate the very fabric of reality in surprising ways.
