Movie Review: Last Radio Call, 2022 – ★★
It was not bad. I’m trying to put my finger on why I don’t feel satisfied because I went into this with low expectations. It was at no point a waste of my time, but hmm… I think I want to blame whoever spliced this story together. Whether that’s an editor or director, I’m not sure. The acting was alright. No one is going to win an Emmy, but I didn’t roll my eyes once. The story was alright…if it were likely told a little better. This brings me back to how the film and footage were put together to make a film. It’s a little all over the place.
Yep. My final answer. There was a lot going on and I wasn’t exactly invested in finding David and that interest wanned over time when we went into some lore about the hospital that I’m still not sure was that relevant.
That being said, for those of you that pride yourselves on your cinematic knowledge and prowess, give this a go. You’ll be fine.
