Road 96 Brings Teenage Hitchhiking Hi Jinks To PlayStation In April 2022

DigixArt has announced that the PlayStation and Xbox console versions of Road 96 will be released in April 2022.

Road 96 was originally released on PC and Nintendo Switch in August 2021, and follows a bunch of teenage hitchhikers as they plan to flee the nation of Petria, which is ruled by an iron fist at the hands of a tyrannical dictatorship.

The developers plucked influence from the likes of The Goonies and Porco Rosso for Road 96, and allows players to choose to influence the election or focus on crossing the boarder of Petria.

Set in the Summer of 1996, the game features a vibrant visual style complemented by some killer 90s beats on its soundtrack, with players bumping into numerous characters throughout their journey. Furthermore, your will make key decisions along the way, which will have a key impact on the characters you meet and potentially change the world as a result.
