Genshin Impact's Paimon Joins The Imapct Memes Fan Community

Genshin Impact mascot Paimon has noticed the “Genshin Imapct” typo memes hashtag and acknowledged it on Twitter.

Genshin Imapct memes explained

If you’ve been following the Genshin Impact English Twitter community, and the #Genshintwt hashtag, you might have noticed several fans are using the hashtag #GenshinImapct, which is a typo.

It’s an easy typo to make, and many fans keep intentionally using it as a tongue-in-cheek joke, so #GenshinImapct become quite a popular hashtag. I personally first saw the typo trending in early 2022.

Due to how trends work on Twitter, with new hashtags getting pushed, whenever the Genshin Imapct typo was made by several fans, it ended up under a bigger spotlight in the suggested trends list than the actual #GenshinImpact tag. The #GenshinImapct typo is also in the suggestion list after writing “#genshin” in a tweet.

Genshin Impact mascot Paimon shares Imapct meme on her Twitter account

On her official Twitter account, Paimon shared a new illustration of herself wearing nerd glasses and a student hat, noticing the typo in the popular #GenshinImapct hashtag.

Funnily, thanks to Paimon’s tweet, Genshin Impact Japanese fans are now aware of the typo hashtag as well, with most players reacting with laughs in Paimon’s replies.
