A storm seems to be brewing in the Pakistani professional Valorant scene, as Asfandyar “Khattak X” Javid has come forward to reveal that he has not been paid his salary by Clarity Esports since the last four months. Not only did he expose the Pakistani organization for non-payment issues but also shared screenshots to prove his points, while announcing that “I have now run out of patience and I will not be playing under Clarity Esports anymore. I am now a free agent”.

Clarity Esports was recently seen competing at the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) 2022: Stage 1 – PK (Pakistan) and AF (Afghanistan) Qualifier, fighting through the Open Qualifiers to reach as far as the semifinals before bowing out to Salt Esports.

Professional Pakistani Valorant player, Khattak X revealed that he has not been paid his salary by Clarity Esports for the last four months.

In his statement via Twitter, the 20-year-old said that after being patient for a long time, he feels the time has come for him to speak up against Clarity Esports. Since joining the organization on 16th September 2021, he has only been paid his salary once, for the first month.

After that, Khattak X has not been paid any salary despite having requested it multiple times from the organization’s owner Nehan Khan. Every time he spoke about his salary or demanded for it to be paid, promises were made by Nehan but never fulfilled.

Admitting his own mistake in this situation, Khattak X said that,

Asfandyar “Khattak X” Javid – Statement via TwitterI admit my mistake of not asking for the salary initially when it wasn’t paid for two months. I thought of letting it go for time being as there must have been some problem, every person has their own issues, even if I get paid two months late there is no problem. After that Nehan messaged me himself saying that I will send you the salary, but till this day I have been enquiring about it and haven’t received a single penny so far.

Khattak X even shared multiple screenshots of chats between him and Nehan where he can be seen requesting his salary at different points in time.

Initially, Khattak X can be seen complying and agreeing with Nehan when he was presented with a reason for not receiving his salary, but over time he started losing his patience and went on to ask for his due payment in the team’s group chat. He had further declared in the group itself that if his salary is not paid by 6th February then he would be leaving the organization.

Multiple Pakistani players and personalities raised their voices against this issue including popular esports host and caster Mamoon “TeaTime” Sabri, who labelled the organization as “a ******* disgrace”.

This org is a fucking disgrace.

Remember that they have EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND FOLLOWERS.

They’re one of the biggest immediate points of exposure for brands.

Following the accusations, Nehan Khan came forward taking full responsibility for the situation and accepted his fault saying that whatever transpired was wrong and all the issues have now been resolved as he paid the full amount to Khattak X.

The payment has not been accepted by Khattak X though, who has returned any and all amount sent to him by Nehan, claiming that he does not want any money that he is owed. He was only sharing his experience to spread awareness and help others speak up if they were in a similar situation.

In an exclusive statement to AFK Gaming, Khattak X has claimed that there is another player he knows who has not received his salary.

Asfandyar “Khattak X” Javid – Statement to AFK GamingThere’s one other player who has not received his salary but i will not give information about him, its his choice if he wants to come forward and speak up on it.

If the above statement is true then it might be conflicting with Nehan Khan’s confession that the rest of the roster was paid on time. For now, Khattak’s case has been settled with Nehan who verified the accusations and accepted his fault.
