Gran Turismo 7 Will Requires Two Discs On PS4 And One For PS5

It has been revealed that Gran Turismo 7 will require two Blu-ray discs for PlayStation 4 and just one for PlayStation 5.

As spotted by GTPlanet, the details were confirmed on Sony’s PlayStation Direct digital store. The difference between the two discs required is likely down to the respective disc drives for each console.

The PS4 has a standard Blu-ray drive which handles around 50GB on a dual-layer disc. While the PS5s UHD disc drive can handle around 100GB. Which explains why the PS4 requires twice the amount of Blu-ray discs. Furthermore, you will need around 110GB of storage regardless of the console.

Gran Turismo 7 will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 4th.
