MPL ID Season 9 Schedule Revealed

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 9 schedule has been revealed. The MPL ID Season 9 will kick off on 18th Feb and will be divided into two phases – the regular season and the playoffs stage. Eight teams will compete in the regular season where the top six teams will proceed to the playoffs stage while the bottom two teams will be eliminated from the tournament. Participating teams in the MPL ID Season 9 will be competing for the lion’s share of the $300,000 USD prize pool and the championship title. Last season, ONIC PH took the title and the team shall now defend it in the upcoming tournament.

ONIC Esports Unveils Roster for MPL ID Season 9, Includes a Female Pro PlayerMPL ID Season 9 Tournament Format

All matches in the regular season will be played in a double round-robin BO3 format. Teams will accumulate points based on their performance in matches.

• Earn 2 points for winning 2-0 games

• Earn 1 point for winning 2-1 games

• Lose 1 point for losing 1-2 games

• Lose 2 points for losing 0-2 games

After the regular season concludes, the teams ranked first and second on the leaderboard will head straight to the second round of the playoffs stage. The teams ranked third to sixth will play in the first round through a single-elimination format.

All matches in the playoffs stage except the grand finals will be played in a BO5 format. The grand finals match will be played in a BO7 format.
