Sea of Thieves Teases Upcoming Preview Event for 2022
Though Sea of Thieves may have had a rocky launch back in 2018, the game has gotten quite popular over the years, garnering more than 25 million players late last year. With the game now gearing up for a new year, Sea of Thieves has announced that they will have a preview event by the end of this week.

When Sea of Thieves first came out, it was bashed for barley having any content. Just like No Man’s Sky and Star Wars Battlefront II though, developers Rare Ltd. managed to continuously improve the game, even getting some Disney IP with A Pirate’s Life expansion which features a new tale from Pirates of the Caribbean’s favourite scallywag, Jack Sparrow.
We don’t know what could be in store for 2022, but I expect Sea of Thieves to dig deeper when it comes to lore surrounding pirates. Who knows, maybe they can find other franchises to crossover with. Is it too much to ask for a One Piece expansion? How about the Flying Dutchman from Spongebob Squarepants?
Sea of Thieves offers the essential pirate experience, from sailing and fighting to exploring and looting – everything you need to live the pirate life and become a legend in your own right. With no set roles, you have complete freedom to approach the world, and other players, however you choose.
