The latest adventure in the world of Pokemon comes courtesy of Pokemon Legends Arceus for Nintendo Switch and one of the innovative new additions is that of Alpha Pokemon.

We’ve seen many different mechanics introduced over the years, including different versions of the same Pokemon.

Pokemon Legends Arceus is no different with not only the new Frenzied Noble Pokemon, but also Alpha Pokemon as well.

What Are Alpha Pokemon In Pokemon Legends Arceus?

We’ve seen plenty of variations on some of the same Pokemon over the years, include shinies, Mega Evolutions, and regional versions, but Pokemon Legends Arceus introduces Alpha Pokemon into the mix.

Alpha Pokemon are larger and stronger versions of the Pokemon you already know, which make them much more of a challenge to defeat and catch.

These Pokemon are signified by their larger stature and glowing red eyes, so it’s pretty hard to miss them when playing through the game. However, this is not always the most obvious when trying to sneak up on one, as you don’t always see its eyes right away.

Which Pokemon Can Be Alpha?

While there are only a few of the Noble Pokemon in the Hisui Region, it appears that there are a lot of Alpha Pokemon out there to find and try to catch.

There is no confirmation that every Pokemon has an Alpha form in the game yet, but it looks like a good majority of them do have one at least.

This means you will need to be extra careful when exploring the Hisui Region, as you never know when you may come across one of these strong creatures.

As a result, you really need to get a sense for the typical size of each Pokemon you’re coming across so that you can be better prepared when you do come across one.
