How To Evolve Kirlia Into Gallade Gardevoir

Pokemon Legends Arceus is mostly filled with returning Pokemon and that includes Kirlia, so you’ll want to know how to evolve into either Gallade or Gardevoir.

There are many different methods of evolution in the Pokemon series and that has carried over into Pokemon Legends Arceus as well.

Some Pokemon even have more than one evolution tree possible with different requirements for evolution and Kirlia is one of those with the possibility of evolving into either Gallade or Gardevoir.

Who Are Kirlia, Gallade, and Gardevoir?

Kirlia is actually the second evolution of the Psychic/Fairy type Ralts that was originally introduced back during the third generation of games.

At that time, Ralts and Kirlia had a third evolution known as Gardevoir, which was a Psychic/Fairy type as well.

Then moving to the fourth generation with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, we got an alternative final evolution for Ralts and Kirlia with the Psychic/Fighting type Gallade.

How To Evolve Kirlia Into Gallade/Gardevoir in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Between the two final evolutions for Ralts and Kirlia, Gallade has always been the more difficult of the two. That is because Gardevoir only required you to raise the level of your Kirlia to a certain level and it would evolve, while Gallade had a few other requirements for evolution.

This still remains the case in Pokemon Legends Arceus, as your Kirlia will evolve to Gardevoir once it reaches level 30.

Gallade still requires a good bit more to pull off, which starts with finding a male Ralts or Kirlia. Gallade can only be male, which means you’ll have to spend the time working to find one of that gender specifically.

In addition, you will also need to obtain a Dawn Stone that you can use on your male Kirlia to evolve it to Gallade. That means you’ll have to find a Dawn Stone, which can be done in one of two ways.

The first is to use Ursaluna to search for once, though there is no guarantee when you’ll come across one that way.

The more surefire way is to go to the Trading Post in Jubilife City and exchange 1,200 Merit Points for the Dawn Stone. Once you have one, just use it on your male Kirlia and it will evolve into Gallade.
