Dystopian Point and Click Adventure ‘Encodya’ Is Out Now on Mobile Following Its Debut on PC and Consoles
Dystopian point and click adventure game Encodya from Assemble Entertainment and Chaosmonger Studio has just launched on iOS and Android. Encodya debuted on PC platforms a while ago before seeing a console release on platforms including Nintendo Switch last year. It has now launched on mobile bringing the Tina’s journey with her robot guardian to mobile. Encodya is set in the year 2062. When Encodya launched on Switch last year, I liked the aesthetic, but didn’t end up playing it. I prefer playing point and click games on iPad and I’m more likely to get around to Encodya now that it is on iPadOS (and iOS). Watch the Encodya mobile release trailer below:
Encodya is available for $29.99 on PC and consoles including Nintendo Switch. The iOS and Android version is priced at $9.99. If you’d like to check it out, you can buy Encodya on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. You can also check it out on Switch here and Steam here where it is discounted for a limited time. The Steam release is also available in a bundle with some extra digital goodies. Barring the aesthetic, I remember impressions pointing to the narrative being a bit too heavy handed while there being some praise for the varied locations. Have you played Encodya yet or will you be jumping on iOS or Android?
