Apex Legends Reveals Mad Maggie as Its Next Legend for Season 12
Apex Legends Season 12 is set to kick off on 8th February as confirmed by Respawn Entertainment, and the new season is set to introduce Mad Maggie as the next playable character. Maggie has been a part of recent cinematics and she finally got her own “Stories of The Outlands” video last night, showcasing her allegiance to Salvo and her hatred for the Syndicate. She will be joining her old friend Fuse in just two weeks.
Who is Mad Maggie in Apex Legends?
Margaret “Mad Maggie” Kohere is from Salvo, a conflict-ridden land where Fuse hails from. Salvo and the Syndicate have been up in arms against each other and Maggie wants to do everything she can to stop them. After years of conflict, an alliance was formed between both the factions back in Season 8 but Maggie was unhappy with the decision by local authorities.
She continues to fight against the Syndicate, which leads her to getting moved to the Apex Games. One interesting bit about the new cinematic is that Maggie’s execution was saved by the head of Silva Industries.
Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts bills Mad Maggie as “a cutthroat punk-rock warlord and the Outlands’ meanest mad-lass.” Maggie has been teased numerous times and there is currently an in-game mini event where players can witness a dogfight between her and other fighter planes in Storm Point.
Apex Legends Storm Point is set to kick off on 8th February 2022 with a brand-new battle pass, in-game events and of course, Mad Maggie. Players will be able to unlock Mad Maggie for 12,000 Credits or 750 Apex Coins.
Mad Maggie is scheduled to get yet another trailer which will reveal her abilities, passives and other information. Season 12’s gameplay is also expected to be showcased in the upcoming trailer.
