Battlefield 2042 has been worked on day and night to recover the game from its disappointing launch, which players and even some ex-developers have not been very fond of. While DICE did announce that players can expect a new patch for the game sometime in March of this year which also adds the revamped scorecard, players have been very vocal in letting the team from both DICE and Ripple Effect Studios know that the communication from the team is just not enough. One of the developers is aware of this and also commented about it.

Back on Twitter, the Senior Design Director of Battlefield: Portal at Ripple Effect Studios, Justin Wiebe, mentioned that the dev team is working on ensuring better clarity and transparency in regards to the issues the teams are tackling, and even though he is not allowed to say much, he is looking forward to sharing more specifics very soon.

Additionally, through another tweet, Wiebe said that even though the team cannot comment on future content for the game mode, he did confirm that the team is working on the issues which are at the very core of the feedback they received.

These are some great news considering the lack of communication the community receives from the team. As the current state of the game is concerned, season one of the game has been pushed back to early summer. All this is not stopping EA from losing trust in the game, as they still believe that the game will do great in long run.

We’re working on providing more clarity and transparency around the top issues the teams are tackling. I look forward to when we can share more specifics about them soon…. https://t.co/UHRHy8tzoy

As you can probably guess we can’t comment on future content at this time, but as you saw from the press release last week, the teams are all heads down working on the issues we know are at the very core of the feedback received. https://t.co/Foc4d9s9RS
