Battlefield 2042 Update 3.3 Delayed To March

Ripple Effect Studios has announced that the Battlefield 2042 3.3 update has been postponed until March, having originally been pencilled in for release at some point this month.

Our next Update after todays Hotfix will now roll out in early March. This is a change from our last messaging to you all on it’s intended release. The extra time will help to ensure we improve the quality of our Updates, and include additional changes.

Battlefield 2042 was released for the PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in November 2021, and you can read our full review here.

The futuristic military shooter was met with a fair amount of criticism from fans and had its fair share of issues, with EA’s Andrew Wilson later admitted the game’s launch failed to meet expectations. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Battlefield 2042 Season One has been delayed to Summer 2022.
