Farm Lost Ark Harmony Fragments

If you’re short on Harmony Fragments, here are some tips from Lost Ark expert Saintone on how to quickly replenish your supply.

What are Harmony Fragments?

You need Harmony Fragments to replenish the equipment XP in order to be able to upgrade an item in Lost Ark.

Dungeons on Normal and Hard

From Rohendel and up, all dungeons on Normal and Hard will give you a one-time reward. Completing all dungeons on Hard should get you enough bags for around 9,000 Harmony Fragments.

Merchant Ships and Sylmael Bloodstone Shop

The merchant ships you occasionally encounter outside of harbors sell a variety of materials for Pirate Coins, including Harmony Fragment pouches. You can get pirate coins quickly and easily from unique islands and reputations. In our Lullaby Island guide, you will find a section on how to get lots of pirate coins.

In the Sylmael Bloodstone shop, you may only get one sachet. You should get a total of 5,500 Harmony Fragments. If you buy fragments for armor (guardian stone fragments) and weapons (destruction stone fragments) these are also unbound to help with any shortages.

Optimize Shadow Peak

In the image below you can see the rewards you get for the first run (left) and for all subsequent runs (right):

If you complete a tower level with one character, you can always do it with other characters. The first run brings you account related rewards like stat points, skill points and other useful stuff like engraving recipes.

Since you can’t get most of these rewards again, subsequent runs will bring you bound upgrade materials instead. Each subsequent character can make the tower and get these materials as a reward.

The idea is to first complete as many levels as possible with your alt character, and then use your main character to get the materials (especially the materials that can become bottlenecked, like Harmony Fragments).

Saintone himself worked his way up to level 24 with an alt character and then did the rest to level 50 with his main. The cost of further upgrading the alt character would have outweighed the benefit. He brought such an alt character to item level 420. There is also a quest on Shadow Isle that requires you to complete level 24 of Shadow Spire. In total, you can get up to 20,000 Harmony Fragments.

Unlimited chaos dungeons

After the two daily Chaos Dungeons, you can continue doing them to get Fragments of Purification. You can trade these to the appropriately titled NPC [Exchange Chaos Dungeon Shard] for up to 7,500 Harmony Fragments per week.
