Fortnite leak teases Uncharted skin and Treasure Map item release
A NEW Fortnite leak has surfaced that suggests the big Uncharted crossover is about to begin with the launch of update 19.30.
Epic Games is preparing for the release date of its next major collaboration, this time working with Sony PlayStation.
The publisher is known for its high-level crossover events, with Marvel and DC some of the biggest so far. The team at Epic don’t shy away from these kinds of challenges, even if the characters and worlds don’t seem to mesh. There have been plenty of movie franchises, sports and video games featured in Fortnite, and Uncharted will be the next.
Instead of Harry Kane, Iron Man, or Thor, Epic Games will add Nathan Drake, Sully and Chloe, with different variants available.
Leaker Teases Fortnite Uncharted Skin Release
While Epic Games has confirmed that the new Fortnite Uncharted skins will debut later this week, things could start kicking off a little earlier. With the launch of update 19.30 coming February 15, there’s a good chance we will start finding out more about the new Uncharted crossover that day.
So while we know that the new Fortnite Uncharted skins will be available on Thursday, February 17, other map changes and features could be revealed on Tuesday. A new leak from Shiina confirms that the next Fortnite update arrives on February 15 and will include new challenges, unvauled weapons and cosmetics.
Content for the Uncharted crossover will also be included in the new patch, but it will be up to Epic Games whether any further details are shared. For now, we don’t know how much new content will be added to the game from the PlayStation franchise or whether it will go live on Tuesday or Thursday. But based on the most recent leaks, it looks like there could be a couple of different items unvaulted to help fans look for Treasure across the Island.

What we do know is that there will be two distinct sets of skins available, including the original game designs and character models based on the upcoming movie release. A message from Epic Games adds these details on what’s coming later this week:
The Nathan Drake Outfit includes the default Style based on the new movie and the style based on the UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End game. Switch between them in the Locker.
The Chloe Frazer Outfit includes the default and No Jacket Styles based on the movie, as well as the UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy Style. Like with the Nathan Drake Outfit, switch between these Styles in the Locker! The Chloe Frazer Outfit is sold with the Chloe’s Pack Back Bling.
After Nathan Drake spends some time on the Island, he’ll leave behind some treasure maps for you. Come across Drake’s Maps on the Island and let them guide you to buried Treasure! Dig up the Treasure with your Pickaxe and enjoy the trove of valuable loot.
