New Genshin Impact leaks have emerged for Ayato and Yae, revealing new details on their banners’ release.
Genshin Impact, over a year after its release, is still one of the most popular anime games in the world. While in Japan, another game, Uma Musume, managed to soar even higher, the popularity of Genshin Impact has never dropped either. Meaning there is a constant flux of info and leaks.
Kamisato Ayato and Yae Miko are the most anticipated Genshin Impact characters right now. While Yae Miko already appeared several times in-game, no one ever saw Ayato yet. We only heard his voice for now, and how he’s most notably voiced by legendary seiyuu Akira Ishida in Japanese.

Genshin Impact leaks reveal new Yae and Ayato banner release news
On January 23, Genshin Impact leaker Lumie stated that Yae Miko will be the sole gacha banner in the first half of Version 2.5.
In other words, there will be no rerun character with a Character Event Wish-2 during the first half of Version 2.5. There will only be one 5-Star weapon banner too, with Yae’s signature weapon.
Furthermore, Lumie reported Kamisato Ayato will be the first banner of Genshin Impact Version 2.6. A new leaker, TheSusLeaker, also reported the same thing on January 18.

This is both good and bad news depending on your point of view. If you’re waiting for the rerun of another 5-Star character and don’t want Yae, this is bad news as you’ll have to wait some more. Note that the second half of Version 2.5 will have a rerun character. And a Character Event Wish-2 rerun remains on the table, so there could be two rerun characters in the second half. Lastly, nothing has been leaked regarding for 2.6 reruns.
Meanwhile, this is good news for Ayato fans as if miHoYo’s plans remain unchanged from these leaks, then we only have a few more months to wait until his release.
Genshin Impact Ayato and Yae banner release date info summary
miHoYo officially confirmed Yae will release in Genshin Impact version 2.5. And leakers have stated she’s the first banner. So Yae Miko should release on February 16, 2022.
Meanwhile, leakers said Ayato is in Version 2.6, and will be the first banner, so Ayato should release on March 30, 2022.
