Gran Turismo 7 may well be getting a State of Play show all to itself tonight, but that isn’t the only game taking a turn in the spotlight this month. Ghostwire: Tokyo will be getting a surprise official showcase from PlayStation tomorrow, but the best thing about the announcement is that it has confirmed the game’s release date for next month.

When will Ghostwire: Tokyo be released?

Ghostwire: Tokyo will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 on March 25, 2022. Those who pre-order the game through the PlayStation Store will receive bonus content in the form of the Biker and Hannya outfits. Those wanting to splash a bit of extra cash can go for the Ghostwire: Tokyo Deluxe Edition instead of the standard edition. This will give players three days of early access to the game as well as the Shinobi Outfit, Kunai Weapon, and Streetwear Fashion Pack.

All of these will likely be revealed during the February 2022 Official Showcase that’s due to air tomorrow, February 3, at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 11:00pm CET. You can watch the official showcase on the PlayStation Youtube channel; while not confirmed, it’s assumed the showcase will also air on the PlayStation Twitch channel.

The action-adventure game tells the story of an apocalyptic event where almost all of Tokyo’s population disappears in an instant. They’re then replaced with paranormal visitors from another world, but the problem is not all of these visitors come in peace. Akito is one of the last remaining humans and he must join forces with a spirit called KK to thwart this supernatural threat.

In other news, you can watch the aforementioned Gran Turismo 7 PlayStation State of Play show on PlayStation Lifestyle from 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 11:00pm CET. The show will include 30 minutes of PS5 gameplay footage and an in-depth look at some of the game’s features. Elsewhere, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is rumored to have been delayed until 2023 according people familiar with the project.
