Gran Turismo 7 On PS4 Will Ship On Two Discs

The PlayStation Direct listing for Gran Turismo 7 has revealed that the Polyphony Digital-developed racer will ship on two discs for the PS4 version of the game.

While only listing on the US version of Sony’s store, it clearly reveals at the bottom of the page that the PS4 version features “2 discs,” while the PS5 version ships on a single disc. The PS4 utilises standard Blu-ray discs which are able to store up to 50GB of data, while the PS5 employs UltraHD Blu-ray, which are capable up to 100GB.

Earlier this month, Polyphony Digital revealed that owners of Gran Turismo Sport will be able to transfer their data to GT7, including DR and SR info.

Sony announced a slew of new GT7 details during a dedicated State of Play broadcast earlier this month, which reveals that the racer will feature a Museum Mode featuring cards from multiple eras, as well as region-specific dynamic weather.

Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled for release on PS4 & PS5 on March 4, 2022.
