Haven Studios Co-Founder Sebastien Puel Has Left The Company After 10 Months
Sebastien Puel, the co-founder of Haven Studios, has departed the company after only 10 months, the developer has announced in a statement.
Puel co-founded Haven last year with Jade Raymond, who previously headed up Ubisoft Toronto and Motive Studios. The company is currently working on a new franchise for PlayStation hardware, having secured an undisclosed investment from Sony Interactive Entertainment.
It’s with great sadness that we share the studio departure of a founding Haveneer, Seb Puel. Seb is a rare talent who’s career and track record as a leader speak for themselves and we will miss his energy and enthusiasm as we continue our journey at Haven. Seb remains a dear friend to the Haven team and we wish him the very best in his next adventures.

Not much has been revealed on Haven Studios’ debut project yet, but a job listing has indicated it will feature multiplayer and live service elements. The studio has grown significantly since its formation, with a number of former Ubisoft developers joining the company.
