Hellblade 2 Will Make The First Game Look Like An Indie, Says Ninja Theory
Ninja Theory co-founder Tameem Antoniades has claimed that Hellblade 2 will make the first game look like an indie.
Antoniades was speaking to NME, where he shared his excitement for the upcoming Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
2The goal with Hellblade 2 isn’t to perfect it, but to create an experience that feels more believable and more refined,” said Antoniades. “It’s ambition in terms of scale is bigger. I think Hellblade 2 will make Hellblade look like an indie game.”

Not that there’s anything wrong with indie games, as many of them look amazing. Certainly, some look better than “AAA” titles. However, I get what Antoniades is trying to say. In a nutshell, the Hellblade sequel will blow the original out of the water.
In my review of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, I said: “Its tale is both haunting and beautifully told. You’ll be rooting for Senua as soon as you feel her torment. You’ll feel a part of her story like you’re the one that’s going to ensure you’ll see her through until the end.“
