Thoma Talents

What is the most important when you make a team comp in Genshin Impact is to remember that your characters must work together. Their talents need to assist each other and only via reactions. Some characters have talents that will change the whole impression about them when you see their talents.

Talent Priority for Thoma

Crimson Ooyoroi > Blazing Blessing > Swiftshatter Spear

Crimson Ooyoroi is Thoma’s Elemental Burst. It deals AoE Pyro DMG and activates Scorching Ooyoroi. While Scorching Ooyoroi is in effect, the active character’s Normal Attacks will trigger Fiery Collapse, dealing AoE Pyro DMG and summoning a Blazing Barrier. Fiery Collapse can be triggered once every 1s.

Blazing Blessing is Thoma’s Elemental Skill. This skill deals AoE Pyro DMG and creates a defensive Blazing Barrier with the following properties:

• Absorbs Pyro DMG 250% more effectively.
• When a new Blazing Barrier is obtained, the remaining DMG Absorption of an existing Blazing Barrier will stack and its duration will be refreshed.

Swiftshatter Spear is Thoma’s Normal Attack. Nothing special. The normal attack works as at any other character with a polearm. He can perform up to 4 consecutive spear strikes.

DMG dealt by Crimson Ooyoroi’s Fiery Collapse is increased by 2.2% of Thoma’s Max HP.

Genshin Impact FREE TO PLAY Gorou team

Here is Aloy as the main DPS and Melt reaction in the front. Kaeya will make Aloy damage more, Barbara heal and activate Freeze and Thoma will apply shields and activate Pyro for Melt reaction.

You can also take Amber instead of Aloy.

The BEST Thoma team

Thoma is a good Sub-DPS with shields, he can support his party and deal Pyro damage. Together with Bennett (who can also heal) they form Pyro Resonance and constant Pyro Applications, which is great for burst. Vaporize effect can be applied constantly by Tartaglia and due to the shielding, he can do it long enough without being in danger. Kazuha will assure that enemies are grouped and will also provide an Elemental Buff to provide more damage.

Pyro Main Thoma team

Hu Tao is the main DPS, her DMG is amplified by Melting and Vaporization in this team. Sucrose here should be replaced by Kazuha, if you have him.
