The release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus introduced a new mechanic called Crafting. With this new mechanic, players can craft various items such as Poke Balls, healing items, and more using ingredients found all over Hisui. With Crafting, you can craft items yourself instead of buying them. In this guide, you will learn how to craft healing items and find the crafting requirements.

Unlock Crafting

We should mention that you can not craft straight from the start of the game. However, the feature does become available early on. After completing the Galaxy Team’s Entry Trial, players will be able to start the Basics of Crafting mission, the third mission of the game. 

For the Basics of Crafting mission, Akari or Rei will have you visit the Craftworks, where a Workbench will be available for crafting items. You can find a Workbench in the Craftworks in Jubilife Village or at the campsite.

After that, you will have another mission to work on Research Tasks. Just keep on trying to finish this mission. You will get to a part where Akari or Rei will instruct you to catch a Buizel, which you would have to battle first before you can catch it, and Akari or Rei will teach you that you will need to see a Pokemon perform a specific move-in battle to complete some research task. Finish these tasks, and Akari or Rei will reward you with a Crafting Kit for meeting the challenges so far.

So, what is the difference between a Workbench in the Craftworks or at the campsite and the Crafting Kit? The main difference is that with the workbench, you can craft items using the items you have in your satchel and the items you have kept in storage. Again, you can only access the workbench in the Craftworks and the campsite. On the other hand, with the Crafting Kit, aside from being able to use it anywhere, you can only craft using only the items you have in your satchel.

A Potion is used to restore 60 HP to a single Pokemon. The recipe for Potion can be obtained from Akari/Rei during the Getting to Work on Research Tasks mission. You would need one Oran Berry and one Medicinal Leek to craft them. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 200 Pokemon Dollars.

Super Potion

A Super Potion is used to restore 100 HP to a single Pokemon. The recipe for Super Potion can be obtained from Captain Cyllene after successfully ranking up to a Second Star Rank. To craft them, you would need one Potion and one Pep-Up Plant. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 400 Pokemon Dollars, but they can only be bought after completing Choy’s Getting Ahold of New Wares Request at the General Store.

Hyper Potion

A Hyper Potion is used to restore 150 HP to a single Pokemon. The recipe for Hyper Potion can be obtained from Captain Cyllene after successfully ranking up to a Fourth Star Rank. To craft them, you would need one Super Potion and one Vivichoke. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 800 Pokemon Dollars. However,  it can only be purchased after completing Choy’s More New Wares Request at the General Store.

Max Potion

A Max Potion is used to restore the max HP of a single Pokemon completely. The recipe for Max Potion can be obtained from Captain Cyllene after successfully ranking up to a Sixth Star Rank. You would need one Sitrus Berry and one King’s Leaf to craft them. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 2000 Pokemon Dollars, but they can only be purchased after completing Choy’s Even More New Wares Request at the General Store.

Remedy

The remedy is a herbal medicine that can restore 60 HP to a single Pokemon. However, the Pokemon will be less friendly towards you because of the bitter taste. The recipe for Fine Remedy can be bought from Craftworks for 3000 Pokemon Dollars. To craft them, you need two Bugworts.

Fine Remedy

Fine Remedy is a herbal medicine that can restore 100 HP to a single Pokemon. However, because of its bitter taste, the Pokemon will be less friendly towards you. The recipe for Fine Remedy can be bought from Craftworks for 3000 Pokemon Dollars. To craft them, you need one Remedy and one Pep-Up Plant.

Superb Remedy

Superb Remedy is a herbal medicine that can restore 150 HP to a single Pokemon. However, because of its bitter taste, the Pokemon will be less friendly towards you. The recipe for Superb Remedy can be bought from Craftworks for 6000 Pokemon Dollars. To craft them, you need one Fine Remedy and one Vivichoke.

Max Ether

Max Ether is a medicine that fully restores the PP of a single move of a Pokemon. The recipe for Max Ether can be bought from Craftworks for 5000 Pokemon Dollars. You need one Leppa Berry and two Pep-Up Plants to craft them.

Max Elixir

Max Elixir is a medicine that can fully restore the PP of the four moves of one Pokemon. You need one Max Ether and two King’s Leaf to craft them. The recipe for Max Elixir can be bought from Craftworks for 25000 Pokemon Dollars.

Full Heal

Full Heal is a medicine used to heal any status condition that one of your Pokemon may have. The recipe for Full Heal can be purchased from Craftworks for 5000 Pokemon Dollars. You need one Cheri Berry, Pecha Berry, Rawst Berry, and Aspear Berry to craft them. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 600 Pokemon Dollars. However, it can only be purchased after completing Choy’s More New Wares Request at the General Store.

Jubilife Muffin

Jubilife Muffin is a sweet treat that can cure any status condition that a single Pokemon may have. This treat is getting popular in Jubilife Village and is loved by Pokémon. You would need two Hearty Grains, two Hopo Berry, one Razz Berry, and one Cake-Lure Base to craft it. The recipe for Jubilife Muffin can be obtained after completing The Taste of Home Request (Request 48).

Old Gateau

Old Gateau is another sweet treat that can cure any status condition that a single Pokemon may have. You would need one Plump Bean, one Dazzling Honey, one Sootfoot Root, and one Cake-Lure Base to craft one. The recipe for Old Gateau can be picked up from Taeko on Brava Arena (Crimson Mirelands).

Revive

Revive is used to revive a Pokemon that has fainted and restores half of the Pokemon’s HP. The recipe for Revive is given to you after completing the Getting to Work on Research Tasks Mission. To craft one, you would need one Vivichoke and two Medicinal Leek. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 700 Pokemon Dollars after adding them to their wares.

Max Revive

Max Revive is also used to revive a Pokemon that has fainted, and it fully restores the Pokemon’s HP. The recipe for Max Revive can be bought from Craftworks for ₽25,000. You need one Revive and two King’s Leaf to craft one. If you choose to buy them, you can purchase them from the General Store and Base Camp for 3000 Pokemon Dollars. However,  it can only be bought after completing Choy’s New Wares Yet Again Request at the General Store.
