How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication in Valorant
Riot Games launched two-factor authentication (2FA) for Valorant players on 20th January 2022. Players can now enable 2FA to keep their accounts protected. Dubbed “Multi-Factor Authentication” (MFA), the new system by Riot Games does away with the traditional 2FA system, where you were prompted to enter a code only when logging on from a new or unverified device. You can now require a code for every login session for added security.
What is Two-Factor Authentication and why should you enable it?
Two-factor authentication is an electronic security measure which permits access to a person’s account only after they have successfully presented two forms of authentication. It is used to identify the true individual of the account and to ensure its protection from hackers.

By enabling 2FA, players will be protecting their password, payment information and their game progress which includes cosmetics. While this is an opt-in feature, all players should enable 2FA to give an extra level of security and peace of mind.
