How to Evolve Haunter to Get Gengar in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has finally arrived and fans are overjoyed at all of the new and returning Pokemon available in the game, including the likes of Haunter and its evolved form, Gengar.

Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar are some of the most popular Pokemon to obtain, but players first need to know how they can evolve the Pokemon all the way up to Gengar. So, here’s everything you need to know.

How To Evolve Haunter To Gengar In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Before you take the steps to evolve Haunter into Gangar, players will first need to catch a Gastly (and then evolve it to Haunter at level 25). These can be found at the following locations:

• Crimson Mirelands: Golden Lowlands, Gapejaw Bog, Scarlet Bog, Shrouded Ruins
• Coronet Highlands: Bolderoll Ravine, Sacred Plaza, Celestica Ruins
• Alabaster Icelands: Bonechill Wastes

Or, to save time, you can catch a Haunter Directly at the following locations within the game:

• Crimson Mirelands: Gapejaw Bog, Scarlet Bog, Shrouded Ruins, Cottonsedge Prairie
• Coronet Highlands: Bolderoll Ravine, Sacred Plaza, Celestica Ruins
• Alabaster Icelands: Bonechill Wastes

Once you’ve got your hands on Haunter, the process of evolving it into Gengar is a simple process. Grab a friend and trade Haunter for one of their other Pokemon, at this point, the evolution process will begin. Of course, we recommend trading with a friend you can trust because you’ll need to trade the Pokemon back once more to get your Gengar back.

If you don’t have anyone to trade with, there is another process you can take. Simply head to Jubilife Village and speak with Simona at the Trading Post, you will then be able to purchase items from her vendor. Purchase the Linking Cable and give it to Haunter to evolve it into Gengar.
