In this guide, we explain how to get Ursaluna, the new evolution of Ursaring in Pokémon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch.

If you are playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the new installment of this popular saga for Nintendo Switch, it is very likely that you are already working on completing the Pokédex. After all, it is the main objective of the adventure!

This means that you will have to train many Pokémon to level up, but also that you will have to carry out certain special actions to get certain Pokémon to evolve. One such Pokémon that requires special actions is Ursaluna, the new evolution of Ursaring in the Hisui region.

You probably know Ursaluna because it’s one of the Pokémon mounts you get throughout the story. But as with Wyrdeer and the rest of Pokémonturas, being able to ride the creature does not mean that it belongs to us or unlock its entry in the Pokédex.

For that, you have to follow some very specific steps… So specific that we could be talking about one of the most complicated evolutions to obtain from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. But that’s what we’re here for today!

The first thing, obviously, is to get Ursaring. To do this you have two options: the first is to get a Teddiursa and raise it to level 30. The second is to catch an Ursaring directly; You will find it in the Crimson Pantanal and on the Pilgrim’s Path (Ladera Corona).

The next thing is to get the item known as Mob Block. This item can be randomly unearthed in the Crimson Swamp using the Ursaluna mount’s special ability (paradoxical, we know). Simply go to the location and follow Ursaluna’s nose until you find a Peat Block.

Now comes the tricky part: you must give the Mob Block to Ursaring so that it evolves into Ursaluna, but it will only accept it on full moon nights. Yes, there is a lunar cycle in Pokémon Legends: Arceus… and you can alter it by sleeping in camps.

You don’t even need to be aware of the sky; head to a camp, interact with the bed, and select the ‘Until Night’ option. When you wake up, open the menu and see if you can use the Mob Block with Ursaring; if it shows as ‘Unsuitable’, repeat the process until it is accepted.
