It’s Official, Rockstar Games Confirms GTA 6 Is In Development

Finally, the worst kept secret in gaming has been officially confirmed as Rockstar Games has announced that GTA 6 is in development.

Fans have been waiting years for the announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 and while no release date or windows has been revealed, it’s nice to officially know that the game is in “active development”.

“With the unprecedented longevity of GTA V, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series,” announced Rockstar. “With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered — and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway.”

I know it’s wishful thinking but depending on how long GTA 6 is in active development, hopefully, we might get a trailer reveal this year. However, if rumours are true, we could be waiting until 2024 until the arrival of GTA 6.
