Yuta is unaware that Yuji has implemented any of the rules suggested by Megumi. Just like Megumi, Kogane is likely to bring up new rules during the battle of Yuta. Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro notice that Dhruv’s shikigami is disappearing. Ishigori wants to know about the player whose points changed at the last moment in Sendai Colony. Kogane then informs him that Okkutsu is that player. Ishigori figures out that he was able to get so close without getting any reaction because Okkutsu and Dhruv are dealing with each other.

Now the scene cuts, and Okkutsu is shown with some people, and he tells them that they should move north for the edge of the barrier. Okkutsu notices a mother and her children, and he helps them and states that he just defeated a sorcerer who claimed the nearby stadium, so they don’t need to worry as no one will be coming.

But suddenly, the civilians notice strange voices, and Okkutsu tells everyone to go inside the stadium. A large swamp of cockroaches comes flying towards them and kills a citizen brutally. Okkutsu realizes that all these cockroaches have cursed energy, and now he doubts if they are even real.

Suddenly Kurourushi appears, and he is the one behind the swamp of cockroaches. Ishigori is watching everything from a distance and notices that the cursed energy is overall high, but the output is still not much.

Kurourushi awakens from his dormant state, and in the meantime, Yuta prepares himself to fight with “The Festering Life Sword.” At the end of the chapter, Yuta considers that there will be more sorcerers like Lakdawala and Kurourushi, who he should kill himself and collect 400 points.
