If you love short, snappy word games, I’m sure you’ve come across Wordle by now. If you love short, snappy word games and have a bit of a dirty mind, then maybe Lewdle is the one for you.
This pair of puzzlers have taken the internet by storm, thanks to their simplicity, sharability and pure levels of joy when you manage to nail that word, although one is a little more NSFW.
Since its inception in November, Wordle has gone on to receive millions of daily users, and also a buyout in the millions of dollars from the New York Times.
In the wake of Wordle’s popularity, Star Wars: Rogue One screenwriter, Gary Whitta and his pals came up with Lewdle, a game that works exactly the same as Wordle, except the solution is always a “lewd” word.
So, to help you out, especially as it’s a tricky one, here is the Lewdle word of the day for Thursday, February 3, 2022.

The Lewdle word of the day for Thursday, February 3 is Bussy.
One of the first updates to Lewdle allowed players to click the word directly to be taken straight to the Urban Dictionary definition. We have a feeling that link will be getting some usage today.
How to Play Lewdle
Lewdle, and Wordle, are simple. You have six guesses to find a five-letter word, using only your mind and some colours for guidance.
If the letter turns the below colours, you know how you’re doing:
- Green – letter is correct and in the right place in the word
- Yellow – letter is correct but in the wrong place in the word
- Grey – letter is incorrect
