Lost Ark Cube Guide

The Cube is one of the endgame activities that PvE has to offer in Lost Ark. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to unlock the Cube – Trial of Fate – and what it’s all about.

Unlock Cube

You can find the cube in capital cities. Conveniently, it is shown on the map as a large cube. If you visit the cube in one of the main cities like Vern Castle, the UI will not open. Instead, you see this message:

You must complete the [Guide] Announcement Cube quest to enter the [Cube].

However, you can only find this quest in your quest journal if you have found the item Access Ticket: Cube at least once. If you found one, the menu looks like this:

The item Access Ticket: Dice is a random drop in Chaos Dungeons. It only seems to drop when your character has Aura of Resonance left and is dropped by the bosses on Floor 2.

To increase your chances of getting entry tickets, you can do Chaos Dungeons twice a day with as many characters as possible. There are no other ways to get tickets in Lost Ark.

What is “The Cube”

The Cube is an instanced dungeon with the following special features:

• One access ticket is required for each run.
• If you die, the run is over.
• The cube consists of several floors, each with a random effect.
• Usually, there are 15-19 floors.
• The more floors you clear, the more loot there is.
• Each floor has an individual timer. If this expires, the floor goes into a kind of enrage mode and spawns very nasty ghosts that cause massive damage.

At the end of a floor, you can choose whether you want to end your run here. You should not choose this option.

If you die, you still get the reward of the last floor completed.

Therefore, you should always push as far as possible and there is no reason to voluntarily stop before then.

Cube Floors

The individual floors are divided into 5 types that present you with different challenges:

• Boss Floor (orange)
  • 1-2 bosses with a few small enemies.
• Elite Floor (Purple)
  • Stronger elite opponents.
• Survival
  • Floor Dodge everything, effects can be 1-shot mechanics. Ie the run is over as soon as something hits you.
• Lucky floors (gold)
  • Rare floors where you can get silver and engraving recipes, for example.
• Normal floor
  • Normal enemies and an occasional elite mob.

Cube rewards

You will receive a Dice Chest as a reward. The chest contains Silver, Engraving Recipes, Essence of Eternity,

The rarity, and thus the value of the content, depends on the level reached:

• Floor 3: Bronze
• Floor 7: Silver
• Floor 10: gold
• Floor 13: Platinum
• Floor 15: Diamond
