Lost Ark: Find and kill Boss Rovlen – How it works!

In Lost Ark, there are numerous bosses that reward you with big loot – not only in the dungeons but also in the game world. One of the first of these area bosses is Rovlen. In this short guide, we explain how you can find this world boss and what you need to watch out for in the fight against him.

Finding and defeating Rovlen – Here’s how Where can I find Rovlen?

The boss Rovlen spawns on the continent of West Luterra in the Bilbrin Forest area. You’ll always find him in the same place: in a small alcove near the Greyhammer Mines dungeon. There are some slimy sheets of paper on the ground where Rovlen spawns. If you see these, you can be sure that you are in the right place.

A little tip: Rovlen only respawns every 30 minutes after being defeated. If you don’t want to wait for it, keep an eye on the area chat. Other players often write here when the boss has spawned in their channel.

Simply change this by clicking on the Channel x button on the minimap. Alternatively, you can just try and find a channel that has Rovlen on it.

What should I watch out for when fighting Rovlen?

The mechanics of fighting are relatively simple: make sure to dodge his attacks, just like you know from other bosses in Lost Ark – otherwise, you’ll take serious damage and be stunned for a short time.

Rovlen also has an invulnerability phase: Here he summons tentacles that also attack you with area attacks. Dismantle the tentacles and wait until the white shield around Rovlen is gone to be able to fire from all guns again. Of course, while his barrier is active, you shouldn’t use any skills on him to avoid cooldowns.

What are the rewards for Rovlen?

Once you’ve killed Rovlen, you’ll get a crate simply called Kill: Rovlen . This includes the following loot:

• An Epic Accessory (iLvl 145)
• A secret card
