Mario Kart 8 Deluxe To Undergo Maintenance Later Today

Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be receiving a spot of maintenance today, leaving its online features unavailable for a few hours.

The game’s online functionalities will be inaccessible from 4:30pm to 9pm PT today, 25th January (that’s 7:30pm to midnight ET, and the following morning at 12:30am to 5am GMT). Nintendo notes that this is “expected and standard” maintenance, clearly intending to quell any thoughts that new content could be arriving in-game.
