Microsoft Flight Simulator Anchorage & Nanki-Shirahama Airports Get New Screenshots; Toronto City & Victoria Announced
Today third-party developers had reveals and assets to share about upcoming scenery add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First of all, we get an announcement from FSimStudios, which revealed its rendition of Toronto City Billy Bishop Airport (CYTZ) in Canada.
It’ll be released within the next couple of weeks and it’ll be the first of the developer’s “premium” line promising “many more features, details, and landmarks” compared to previous products from the same brand, on top of “ultra-sharp textures, amazing level of detail and accuracy, fully modeled interiors, landmarks beyond the airport (which in this case means downtown Toronto), and more.
The previously announced Calgary Airport (CYYC) will also get the same treatment, and Victoria International Airport (CYYJ) has also been announced, bundled with Victoria Airport.
Below you can see a few screenshots of Toronto, even if they’re partly covered by the watermark. Also, apologies for the imgur galleries. Our gallery feature is temporarily broken due to a software transition and we’ll revert to that as soon as possible.
Next, we get to see new work-in-progress screenshots of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (PANC) in Alaska, US.
The airport is in development at VREF Simulations and the images have been published on its Discord server.
Last, but not least, we take a look at more screenshots of Nanki–Shirahama Airport (RJBD) in Japan by Gate15 Scenery.
We take another look at the XIV hotel alongside the Nanki Shirahama Adventure World theme park, which is one of the main reasons for the traffic to the airport itself.
Recently, we published our latest interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and we heard more about Microsoft’s plans for the next few months, including World Update Australia.
