For you Diamond Dynasty fans out there, San Diego Studio revealed Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau as the latest legends for MLB The Show 22.

If you missed them take the field earlier today in the Co-op mode reveal, make sure to read all about the new mode here.

You can either join with one friend and one random, or you can do a full friend game — or anything in between. SDS showed off the mode similar to an offline “play now” game where you pick from the real MLB teams, then pick your pitcher, and then set your lineup. When you hit the field in a 3-on-3 game, one player handles pitcher/catcher, one handles infielders, and one handles outfielders. The roles for the three of you change between innings, and you can’t lock in a role so you’re always the pitcher and so forth. Everyone will have to do everything at some point.

The Standard Edition of MLB The Show 22 releases on April 5 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and for the first time, Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Day One for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Fans that purchase the Digital Deluxe or MVP Editions will get a four day head start with early access starting on April 1 at 12:00 AM ET.
