After BloodThirstyKings (BTK) shocked fans with its impressive performance at the M3 World Championship, its team captain, Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, is looking to join teams in regions where Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is well-developed. In one of his discussions with EVOS Legends’ head coach Bjorn “Zeys” Ong, it was revealed that he may be able to join the Indonesian team. However, he first needed to play in the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) division of the team before being promoted to the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) team. On a separate stream, he expresses that he deserves more than playing in the MDL division. He is confident that he can impress organizations and try out for their MPL teams.

MobaZane calls MDL as “Baby MPL”

After a lengthy discussion with EVOS Legends’ head coach, MobaZane in one of his livestreams stated, he prefers joining MPL teams rather than MDL teams. He added that he knows he can do better than 8th place MPL and he believes that he could potentially be at least the 3rd best MLBB pro player in the world.

“MDL? No, no MDL. I know I deserve more than Indo (Indonesian) MDL, bro,” stated MobaZane.

He also clarified that he understands the importance of tryouts to determine if he is fit for the team’s MPL lineup. MobaZane is also confident that he can impress some of the best teams in the MPL regions.

The BTK team captain further added that he thinks MDL is an inferior version of the MPL. However, he also thinks there are interesting players in the MDL despite calling it “Baby MPL.”

“The thing is MDL is like Baby MPL but still, there are still good players. It’s just that, I think I can do better than MDL,” stated MobaZane.

MobaZane as the team captain of the underdog team BloodThirstyKings impressed fans after taking down Blacklist International at the M3 World Championship, sending the infamous team to the lower brackets of the events playoffs stage. While the team failed to secure its championship title, beating one of the best teams from the Philippines got the attention of a lot of fans and esports teams.

While the pro player is contemplating the offer to play in Indonesia’s MDL tournament under EVOS Legends, he confidently stated that he has a lot to offer to MPL teams despite coming from a region where MLBB esports is still in its nascent stages.

“I know what I’m worth to a team. Like, none of it is just a game, you know. I can bring a lot to the table outside the game as well,” stated MobaZane.

It is still unknown whether MobaZane will be joining EVOS Legends. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more information in the near future.
