More GTA 6 News Could be Shared today In Upcoming Investor Call

Having finally confirmed that Rockstar Games are busily working on GTA 6, fans might not have to wait long for Take-Two Interactive to share more Grand Theft Auto news.

With so many different GTA projects coming soon, fans have been eagerly awaiting news on GTA 6.

And luckily, the team at Rockstar Games were able to confirm that the project is now in development.

Insiders and leakers have been the main sources of information until this point, but that all changed in February when Rockstar was able to reveal that its next Grand Theft Auto project would be discussed by the team when it was ready.

Rockstar Games confirms GTA 6 is in active development

Unfortunately for those desperate to learn more, the full statement covering GTA 6 revealed only this small tidbit of news: 

“With the unprecedented longevity of GTAV, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series.

“With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered — and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway. We look forward to sharing more as soon as we are ready, so please stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for official details.”

So how long will fans have to wait for more Grand Theft Auto news?

Take-Two Interactive – the parent company of Rockstar Games – will be sharing its latest earnings report on February 7.

This will cover its leading franchises, including GTA Online, NBA 2K and Borderlands, while company CEO Straus Zelnick will answer questions.

However, past events have simply referenced the fact that Rockstar Games will announce the final release date, not Take-Two.

This week’s meeting will be the first in 2022 that could hint at what’s coming next in GTA. And that will make it worth checking out for all Grand Theft Auto fans.

Previous events have seen Take-Two focus on the company’s “strongest multiyear pipeline in company history.”

This included new titles and sequels “to many beloved franchises that we know our consumers will be eager to play.”
