Nintendo has blocked over 1300 YouTube videos featuring its soundtrack

A YouTuber who runs a channel that primarily uploads rips of soundtracks of Nintendo games has claimed that the published has blocked over 1300 videos in the past few days. GilvaSunner, a YouTuber channel that boasts almost half a million subscribers, wrote on Twitter that Nintendo had blocked videos featuring the soundtrack from games such as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy and several more. In 2019, GilvaSunner revealed that they’d received notice of impending takedown requests from Nintendo Japan, but it appears to have taken several years for the company to successfully take down the majority of their channel.
