ONIC Esports Unveils Roster for MPL ID Season 9, Includes a Female Pro Player
Indonesian powerhouse ONIC Esports has officially announced its revamped roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 9. The highly anticipated roster reveal was made through its official Instagram page revealing a fresh new face joining its squad. The team has not made too many changes to its roster, only replacing its Mid Laner Adriand “Drian” Larsen Wong with a debuting female pro player, Viorenita “Vior” Sutanto. ONIC Esports is looking to defend its championship title against seven other franchise teams in the upcoming MPL ID Season 9 which is scheduled to kick off on 18th Feb.

After the announcement of ONIC Esports’ roster for the upcoming MPL ID Season 9, one name captured the attention of fans. A social media post announced that Vior will serve as the team’s mid laner for the upcoming tournament.
The team is composed of the following pro players;

Viorenita “Vior” Sutanto – Mid Lane
The team’s head coach, Marsam “Mars” Fakhre and the new strategic coach Ronaldo “Aldo” Aditya Lieberth will be leading the team in the upcoming MPL ID Season 9.
Who is ONIC Vior?
ONIC Esports’ new member, Vior is a female Indonesian streamer and influencer who is quite popular in the streaming platform Nimo TV. The streamer is known for her exceptional skills in using heroes such as Angela, Pharsa, and Eudora, despite having no prior experience in professional Mobile Legends esports.
Vior also won the “New Rising Star of 2021” award last year during the Nimo TV Gala 2021.
EVOS Legends Unveils MPL ID Season 9 Roster
The acquisition of Vior was the only change made in ONIC Esports’ roster. The team is yet to reveal the reason for the unavailability of its former Mid Laner, Drian.
The MPL ID Season 9 will see eight teams competing for the championship title and the lion’s share of the $130 thousand prize pool. ONIC Esports reigned victorious last season and will be hoping to defend its title in the upcoming season.
