Phantom Breaker 1

Publisher Rocket Panda Games and developer MAGES are excited to reveal that two new characters have been added to the roster for Phantom Breaker: Omnia, the remaster of the beloved 2D anime fighting saga coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam (PC). Artifactor and Maestra will join the fight on March 15, 2022.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is a massive update to Phantom Breaker: Extra, a 2D anime fighting game released only in Japan in 2011. For the first time in the series’ history, this chapter will be available to Western audiences including new characters, full HD graphics, and much more!

Brand-New Characters:

Phantom Breaker: Omnia

Artifactor: A capricious cosmic architect from a god-like race of beings known as Reverants. One of the original creators of the universe, the so-called ‘Fu-mension Artifacts’ – mystical weapons of great strength – were tools of her design used to construct reality as we know it. She is currently the only known Reverant left in existence.

Artifactor is voiced by Yui Nakajima (Japanese) and Cassandra Lee Morris (English).

Phantom Breaker: Omnia

Maestra: She once dwelled in Mikoto’s Fu-mension Artifact, Maestro, until Mikoto’s wish to not fight made her manifest into being. Though naive and a bit clumsy outside of battle, she bravely fights in Mikoto’s stead and loves her mistress dearly. Ever protective, she stays close to Mikoto’s side at all times.

Maestra is voiced by Mai Sato (Japanese) and Xanthe Huynh (English).

Artifactor and Maestra will bring the character roster to a total of 20 playable characters.

“It has been an extremely long journey,” said producer SakariP, “but I’m thrilled to finally show off our new characters in ‘Phantom Breaker: Omnia.’ On behalf of the dev team, I hope that Omnia meets all of the passionate Phantom Breaker fans’ expectations and that we can continue to build the Phantom Breaker saga together.”

Phantom Breaker 3
Phantom Breaker: Omnia

Phantom Breaker: Omnia will be the first fighting game title in the franchise to see a Western release after the successful 2013 launch of the 2D side-scrolling beat ’em up spin-off Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds, which sold over 400,000 copies.

In the game, a mysterious man named Phantom works from the shadows to lure powerful fighters into perpetual battle against one another. He bestows upon them mystical weapons known as “Fu-mension Artifacts” and promises the ultimate prize to the winner: a wish. Unbeknownst to these chosen hopefuls, however, their clashes shake the fabric of space-time itself, weakening the barriers between parallel universes and bringing Phantom one step closer to his own dearest desire—the return of his destructive powers and the end of the world.
