Pokemon Legends: Arceus Player Uses Ridiculous Trick to Cross Water
One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player uses a ridiculous yet awesome Bibarel trick to cross water without needing a Basculegion mount.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus has introduced wonderful new ways of traversing the beautiful lands of the region. Turning essential HM moves into interactable methods of travel adds so much life and elevates Legends: Arceus to a real adventure. It’s one thing to select “Surf” on a game menu, and another to actually ride a Basculegion amidst the waves of a river.
Traveling, though, is usually pretty limited within the early stages of the game. Basculegion is the only mount able to travel across water, and it’s typically unlocked once players progress to the Cobalt Coastlands. Additionally, evolving a Hisui Basculin into a Basculegion is its own time-consuming process.
However, leave it to the Pokemon community to find a solution! One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player uses a genius trick to cross water without needing a Basculegion.
POKEMON PLAYER USES TRICK TO CROSS LAKE VERITY
Normally, players are unable to cross bodies of water without using a mount. Swimming is infamously impossible, so relying on Pokemon Basculegion was the main mode of water travel. One streamer, though, found a way to bypass needing a Basculegion mount by instead using a party of Bibarel.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus streamer ateliersage/賢者ふぅ carefully calls out Bibarel by Bibarel to form a makeshift bridge. Slowing walking along their backs, the player was able to fully cross water safely.
Following their discovery, they used this method to then cross Lake Verity, giving them access to the island in its center. While players might normally venture to Lake Verity for the game’s 14th mission, “The Trial of Lake Verity,” ateliersage/賢者ふぅ’s method allows players to reach the location much earlier on.
The power of Bibarel!
While this method may not be as fast as a Basculegion, it’s certainly an accessible and clever way of travel! It’s equal parts genius and silly, and honestly a useful trick for anyone looking to advance quickly in the early game.
