PS5 Covers General Release Delayed By Sony

Sony Interactive Entertainment has seemingly postponed the general release of its official PS5 covers, as they’re still only available to purchase directly from the company on PlayStation Direct.

The console maker previously revealed that the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 covers would be sold in general outlets from today, but PlayStation Direct US & UK has now indicated they won’t be on general release until March.

Sony announced its own lineup of PS5 covers in response to the growing supply of third-party offerings, notably Dbrand.

The covers will be available in the following regions: USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and the Philippines.

In addition to the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red, Sony is also manufacturing more colours including Nova Pink, Galactic Purple, and Starlight Blue.
