Resident Evil 4 remake will reportedly sport a darker tone, could be announced soon
Rumors of a Resident Evil 4 remake have circulated for quite some time now. It would only make sense for Capcom to reinterpret this beloved classic, as it has already done so with the first three Resident Evil games. Many have expressed opposition to this idea, mainly because they see Resident Evil 4 as too good of a game to warrant a remake. Regardless, such a project will likely come to fruition sooner or later. And according to a recent report by Fanbyte, development on this remake may have already started, and it will supposedly contain some significant changes to the original. Apparently, a studio by the name of M-Two initially handled the development of the remake, and this studio consists of former Capcom and PlatinumGames employees. Interestingly, Capcom reportedly reached out to Resident Evil 4’s original director Shinji Mikami to see if he wanted to work on the remake.
