Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delayed to 2023?

Rocksteady had struck gold with their Arkham franchise, and fans were excited to see the studio take on another DC property with Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Though the game was expected to come out this year, it looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on it.

As per Bloomberg (via GamingBolt), sources ‘familiar with its development’ have said that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been pushed back to 2023. We don’t have any details as to what caused the delay, but some suspect that it could be pandemic-related.

The being said, there hasn’t been any official announcement of the game’s delay, so we’ll just have to wait and see when Rocksteady is ready to address these rumors going around.

Even if Suicide Squad won’t come out this year, fans can still watch out for Gotham Knights which stems from the same Arkham family of games. While it doesn’t have the same innovation that the SS game promises, it will at least feel like the original Arkham games that Rocksteady pioneered—with some original changes from the devs at WB Games Montreal, hopefully.

As of now, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to come to the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2022.
