Sony Plans to Launch 10 PS5, PS4 Live Service Games by March 2026

Sony appears to be all-in on plans to expand its portfolio beyond big-budget single player experiences as the Japanese company confirms it has 10 live service games in the works. They are all planned to release by March 2026. The news comes from the firm’s latest earnings call, where it also touched on the recent Bungie acquisition.
Supporting comments made by bosses Jim Ryan and Hermen Hulst, chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki spoke of how PlayStation Studios will learn from Bungie. Transcribed by VGC, Totoki said: “Our studios will learn from Bungie, that is a strong wish we have the Bungie side is willing to work closely with us.” A new Bungie IP was also mentioned during the earnings call, which was initially aided by a $100 million injection of cash from Chinese company NetEase back in 2018. The project in question will remain multi-platform.
