Take-Two Plans ‘Sequels To Many Of Our Most Beloved Franchises’, L.A. Noire & Midnight Club Referenced In Slideshow
Speaking during its latest earnings report overnight, Take-Two executive Strauss Zelnick expressed interesting pursuing sequels to a number of its existing IPs, and while not confirming anything specific, he did reference long-dormant franchises such as L.A. Noire and Midnight Club.
Strauss made it clear that there’s a healthy portion of IPs in the company’s portfolio that would benefit from being resurrected via new sequels.
We have the strongest and most diverse pipeline in our Company’s history, comprised of new intellectual properties, as well as sequels to many of our beloved franchises. We look forward to delivering many of these titles in the coming months and beyond.

Again, he didn’t mention anything specific, but a presentation following the above statement included images of L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3, and Midnight Club. All three franchises haven’t been seen in years, so anyone of them would be ideal bringing back in the future.
L.A. Noire was originally set to be a PS3-exclusive before going multiplatform, launching for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Max Payne 3 launched the following year, while the last Midnight Club game arrived way back in 2008 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
